Which Games Console To Buy This Christmas

With only a few weeks left till Christmas, many kids will be and will have already asked for a new games console. But which one should you buy? With the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 all competing for your sales, which one should you buy?

I'll start by telling you about the Xbox 360. After a price reduction during September, the Xbox now costs £130 making it the cheapest console of the 3. However, for your £130 you only get an arcade system which doesn't include a hard drive or games, so what about console bundles. For the arcade system, you can get the console, 3 games and 2 controllers for around £160. As for the premium console, this comes with a 60GB hard drive. You can get a bundle which comes with 3 games and 2 controllers for around £200. And if you are after the best Xbox, the Xbox 360 Elite will set you back £260, but for this you get a 120GB hard drive, 3 games and 2 wireless controllers.

Overall the Xbox is a great console, with a huge selection of exclusive games. Plus with a huge online community, it's a great console for any family.

Next, the Nintendo Wii. The Nintendo Wii is a great family console, with many fun and family interactive games that will keep the young kids entertained for hours. The standard Wii will cost you around £180 and for a bundle £270, which includes the console, 2 controllers, 2 nunchucks and 4 games.

Overall the Nintendo Wii is a brilliant console, it's like no other console currently on the market, plus with a huge range of family and child friendly games, it's a great console for all ages.

The final console on the list is the Playstation 3, this is also the newest next gen console, aswell as the most exspensive. The Playstation is very similar to the Xbox 360, except the Playstation 3 comes with a Blu-ray DVD player installed, allowing you to play Blu-ray DVDS. Also, just in a last few days, Sony released their new Playstation Home, a brand new online community for all their Playstation owners.

As for the price of the console, the standard one will cost around £300. As for a bundle offer, you can get a Playstation with an 80GB hard drive, 4 games for around £300.

Obviously the Playstation is the most exspensive, but value for money, I would not say it's worth it. Although the Xbox and the Playstation are similar, the Xbox seems to have a better range of exclusive content.

Finally, I would say that the Xbox 360 is the best for online and solo gaming, if you are after family and child friendly gaming, the Nintendo Wii is the best bet.

Caribbean Holidays and All Inclusive Holidays are perfect for this Winter.
